Beacon High School Students Treated to Mount Auburn "Hospitality"

Careers Exploration class receives tour of the hospital in Cambridge
Mount Auburn Hospital

Last week the Beacon High School Career Exploration class visited Mount Auburn Hospital for a special guided tour coordinated by Beacon High School teacher Frank Tassone. The group of students learned about the many potential career paths that could bring them to a hospital setting after graduation from Beacon.

On the tour led by director of volunteer services Jan Ankerson, students met with the vice president of the hospital and visited various departments, speaking with a wide range of the hospital’s 2,500 employees. The students were also treated to a luncheon at the hospital and received Mount Auburn baseball caps as gifts.

The Beacon High School Career Exploration class is grateful to Mount Auburn Hospital for an interesting and enjoyable visit!
